Carol Rutkowski
Administrative Assistant
When you phone Wagener-Lee, you may be greeted by the friendly voice of our administrative assistant, Carol Rutkowski. A key member of our team, she works closely with advisor Alan Ray.
Ray of Light
On a daily basis, I perform a variety of tasks for Alan. I prepare the paperwork he uses with our clients at their annual fiduciary meeting and other times throughout the year; I speak with clients, then collaborate with Alan to address their questions and pass along his answers. The most satisfying part of my job is keeping track of the things needed to advise our clients, whether it’s taking notes on meetings or making follow-up calls. I have worked at Wagener-Lee since February 2014 supporting Alan and using the innovative Raymond James technology programs that help create reports specific to each of our clients.
Past and Present
Prior to joining Wagener-Lee, I was Director of Sales, at Federal for Web Age Solutions, a Canadian-based company that sold products to the U.S. government.
Fun Fact
My son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter moved out to Colorado two years ago, so I visit them about twice a year. The last time I was there, we went to Red Rocks to do some climbing. It was amazing. I don’t know how many steps there were, but I made it! Speaking of the color red: I’ve also made a red hat-shaped cake for a neighbor who is part of the Red Hat group, and helped my co-worker Melany Graydon crochet red caps for newborn babies as part of the Little Hats, Big Hearts™ project for the American Heart Association.
Carol 101
Carol was born and raised in South New Jersey, attended Strayer University in Owings Mills, and now lives in Woodstock. Her recent travels have taken her to Colorado to see family, and a group hike across the 4.3-mile Bay Bridge. Calling herself “Super Grandmother,” Carol loves spending time with her four grandchildren, and spoiling them with her home-baked desserts and scones, or sharing hand-made gifts she’s knitted or crocheted.
