For Jeff, the most satisfying part of his job is helping people reach their personal goals. He uses over 25 years of investment industry experience, as well as his ability to listen intently and explain to his clients in terms they understand what is required to work toward their financial independence and have the freedom to truly enjoy life.

Jeff spent the first 13 years of his career as a design engineer and engineering manager with a major defense contractor – a background that instilled an appreciation for logic and discipline that serves him well as a financial advisor. Prior to joining Wagener-Lee, LLC, in 2011, he worked as a financial advisor and assistant market director with Bank of America Investment Services in locations throughout Maryland.

Jeff is a graduate of Old Dominion University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1981. He continued his education at Central Michigan University, graduating with a Master of Science in Administration in 1990. In 2011 he earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation.

Jeff is a member of the 2016 Premier Class for Leadership Howard County. Jeff has served on the Board of the Columbia Housing Corporation, whose mission is to promote and provide quality housing that is affordable to Howard County residents.

A Maryland native, Jeff grew up in Linthicum Heights and now resides in Ellicott City with his wife, Patty. In his spare time, he enjoys boating, and volunteering with The Living Legacy Foundation, Inc. and The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
