Amanda’s specialization in financial planning for women executives has allowed Wagener-Lee to specifically address the unique needs and issues of the highly successful businesswomen we serve.

Amanda joined Wagener-Lee as a financial advisor in 2010. Clients count on her to provide personalized financial guidance and she is the go-to person for all aspects of their financial lives.

She is a CFA® Charterholder and CERTIFIED ESTATE PLANNER™. Amanda holds Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 licenses, and is licensed in Maryland for life and health insurance.

She began her professional career as an engineering manager for a major defense contractor. Amanda has a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering with a minor in business from Virginia Tech. She also has an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Amanda is graduate of the 2011 Leadership Essentials class and 2018 Leadership Premier program for Leadership Howard County. She also participates in Discover Engineering, an annual initiative that promotes engineering career opportunities to high school girls.

Originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, Amanda now lives in Hanover with her husband, Charlie.

The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation is an international professional certification awarded to financial analysts who complete a series of three examinations. Candidates must pass a program organized into three levels, each culminating in three 6-hour exams. Additionally, candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (or have equivalent education or work experience) and have four years of qualified, professional work experience. Charterholders are also obligated to adhere annually to a strict Code of Ethics and Standards governing their professional conduct.
